 A crime drama based in England in 1919.
In my opinion, this show isn't for everyone. The show demands a special taste in viewers who will actually like and appreciate the show. If you like watching drug wars, gang fights, and historical fiction, then this is the show made for you. 
The show also demands patience, as you can find the story, slow in starting but once the plot is set and you get immersed in this show, you won't be able to foresee the end.

 In my experience, I did not find the 1st season boring or slow. It was okay-okay, the reason is season 1 is like a build-up season. But what future seasons serve you is just pure cream.
How gangs and politics worked back in England is nicely presented by the show. How planning and plotting are done for executing a plan is another thing you should appreciate the show for.

 There's a reason you like a show, either it teaches or reflects an idea/theme that you feel connected with. The show Peaky Blinders reflects (according to me) - "A man is only as good as his words". No matter what, commitment and loyalty are done deal. For family, there are no limits, do anything and everything to protect them.

The show has an IMDb rating of 8.8/10 and 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.
There are currently 5 seasons - 30episodes. The show is available on Netflix.
Season 6 will be releasing in 2020.

This show took that on its ego and proved me wrong and will surely to you too.
